Blow the Trumpet in Zion - Sound the Alarm in My Holy Mountain, Joel 2:1

This is the word God gave us when Hubert and I went to South Africa and to Nigeria late last year.  It is time for the church to arise in the spiritual realm.  It is time for the church to recognize her place in God's kingdom.  It is time for the church to prepare for the difficult days that are upon us and are increasing in stress and pressure.  It is time for the church to be a greater light amidst the ever increasing darkness that is here and is coming. 

The trumpet is to be blown.  We brought a small shofar with us to Africa.  We blew the "trumpet" in our gatherings in Africa.  When we brought forth this word in Africa, the feast of trumpets was being celebrated by the Jews in Israel. God had a special season for the blowing of the trumpets.  We believe we are in a special season of our lives, our ministries, and in the kingdom of God. 

In the Old Testament the shofar was blown to gather the people, to announce to them it was time to move on, to call the people to prepare for war, to announce to their enemies that the Israelites were coming to defeat them, and to call the people together for a time of  celebration and worship. 

We believe God is calling us to blow the trumpet, to bring them into the reality of all that God is doing and would do in these days.  The trumpet is to be blown in Zion.  For the Christian, we have a heavenly mount Zion as described in Hebrews 12.  For the Jew, there is a mount Zion in Jerusalem in Israel.  Both places are extremely important in these days.  Many Christians are not aware of there being brought into the heavenly Mount Zion.  They have no spiritual revelation of what this place is, or what is happening there.  God is awakening His people knowing their place and participating in what is going on there.  Later in Joel 2 God again calls for the blowing of the trumpet in Zion - to gather the people and for the priests to come for prayer.  These things are happening now.  Let us come deeper into the reality of our place in Mount Zion, IN God's heavenly kingdom  and worshipping before His heavenly throne.
