sent on 9/19/03A Visit with a Prince of Nigeria Blessings
to you. We continue to thank God
for all of you. Your prayers for us
while in Africa are still bearing fruit. One
of the things God promises to do in these last days is to give us favor with
kings and rulers. While
in Nigeria and Kenya we had many times when we lived in the modest conditions of
the people. They were willing to
give their best to us, although due to their living conditions we were not able
to have air conditioning, hot and cold running water, and some of the other
comforts we are used to expecting in the USA.
What the people had, they willingly shared with us.
God showed His love and power through us, as we were able to minister His
word, His presence, His love and His healing power in the churches and the homes
He prepared for us. In
Nigeria, they still have kings who are over the states and the tribal people in
that state. We met such a man, who
was the son of the recently departed king.
We were brought to His home and treated royally.
He is a Christian, and knew of some of the work God was doing through our
ministry. We were given favor.
He indicated that next time we came he would give us a formal dinner, and
would have us come to His church so we could have an audience with many of the
church leaders. While
at His home we had the opportunity to pray with him and his wife.
God gave a word of revelation for a healing need of his wife.
We asked if we could pray for her and she consented, received the healing
power of God, and was healed. The
attachment contains a picture of the prince with us. In
these days we can bring His presence, His love and His power into whatever
situation He brings us. We are
seeing His hand moving in ever increasing ways here in our gatherings at Big
Rock, and in the homes in which He brings us. We
